Breier, Damstetter Earn All-Conference Volleyball Honors

Buffalo State women's volleyball players Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) and Sam Damstetter (West Seneca/West Seneca East) were recognized by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) as Second Team All-Conference performers.

Breier, a junior, led the Bengals' offense with 335 kills and 58 service aces. She also led the team with 22 solo blocks, as she played in all 118 games for Buffalo State. Damstetter, also a junior, had a strong offensive season as well, recording 292 kills on 985 attack attempts, the most on the team. Along with being an offensive threat, Damstetter anchored the defense for the Bengals. She led the team in digs with 436, also appearing in all 118 games.

Buffalo State ended its 2004 campaign at 6-28 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
