Brockport Edges Women's Soccer in Overtime

BROCKPORT, NY--Buffalo State (2-5/0-1) scored first, but fell 2-1 in overtime against the defending SUNYAC Champion Brockport on its home field.

Mindy Wendt (Sanborn/Starpoint) gave the Bengals the lead going into the intermission with an unassisted tally in the opening half. The Golden Eagles evened the score in the 77th minute, however, and added the game-winner in the seventh minute of the extra session.

Brockport held a slim edge in shots at 18-16. Buffalo State's Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made 13 saves.

Buffalo State will next travel to Oneonta on Friday.
