Brockport Outlasts Men's Basketball, 88-85
BROCKPORT, NY--Brockport (7-7/3-2) rallied from a eight-point halftime deficit to defeat visiting Buffalo State (9-6/3-3), 88-85, tonight in a SUNYAC game at Tuttle North Gym.
Buffalo State led 46-38 and was up by as 13 points, before Brockport charged back and claimed the three-point victory. The Golden Eagles were 11 of 22 from three-point range for the game and outscored Buffalo State 33-6 from long range.
Dante Griggs (Bronx/Chester Academy) led Buffalo State with a career-high 20 points and had nine rebounds. Gregg Jones (Syracuse/Nottingham) added 18 points, and former Golden Eagle Charles Hepburn (Rochester/Greece Arcadia) had 16 points and six boards. Dion Mozelle (Rego Park/Xaverian) chipped in 10 points.
Ben Bellucci led Brockport with 34 points and seven rebounds.
Buffalo State will host Potsdam tomorrow at 4 p.m.
