Brooks Earns Women's Basketball All-SUNYAC Honors
FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State senior forward Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) was recognized as a Second Team All-Conference selection today by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC).
Brooks, majoring in career and technology education, led the Bengals and was fourth in the league, averaging 14.4 points-per-game. She also averaged 6.1 rebounds and shot 45-percent from the field and 85-percent from the free-throw line.
Brooks finished her career as the fourth leading scorer in school history with 1,219 points and ranks eighth with 554 rebounds. In addition, her 84.5-percent career free throw percentage is a Buffalo State all-time best. Brooks was also named Second Team All-SUNYAC as a junior
