Brooks Named SUNYAC and ECAC Upstate Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Buffalo State's Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) was named the SUNYAC and ECAC Upstate Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The junior forward scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Bengals to an 82-73 victory over Centre (Ky.) in the consolation game of the Wittenberg (Ohio) Holiday Classic. Brooks averaged 18.5 points and 6.7 rebounds in the two-game tourney and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Brooks leads the SUNYAC through eight games, averaging 16.2 points-per-game. She also is second on the Bengals with 7.6 rebounds-per-contest.
