Buffalo State Names Pacifico Diving Coach
Mike Pacifico has been named Buffalo State's diving coach for the 2004-05 season.
Pacifico spent last year as a coach with the Erie Community College swimming and diving program. He helped guide the Kats to an NJCAA Non-Scholarship Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship, while mentoring two second place divers and one seventh place finisher at the National Championship meet. His other coaching experience includes eight years with the Buffalo Diving Club and at the Wanaka Country Club, as well as one season as the diving coach at Depew High School. His judging experience includes US Diving Meets, the NJCAA Championships, the SUNYAC Championships, and the Atlantic-10 Championships.
During his own diving career, Mike was a SUNYAC Champion at Geneseo and was named the conference's diver of the year as a senior. He is currently attending law school at the University at Buffalo.
