Buffalo State Team to Ride for Roswell

This is Jennifer Jackson’s fourth year participating in the Ride for Roswell; for the last three years, she has headed up the Buffalo State team.

Jackson, the instructional support associate in the Biology Department, is an avid bicyclist who competes in triathlons. Triathlons include swimming and running as well as bicycling. “I try to bicycle 20 or 30 miles a week,” she said.

Jackson said that she started a Buffalo State team to give colleagues an opportunity to get more involved in the community, and to promote Buffalo State.

This year, Ride for Roswell offered participants a choice of routes, ranging from a 3-mile ride to a 104-mile ride. Most of the shorter routes are now full, but there are plenty of spots left in the “virtual rider” route. But if you want to fight cancer, you don’t even have to do that. You can help by supporting Team Buffalo State with a donation. Do it soon—Ride for Roswell takes place on Saturday, June 22.
