Buffalo State's Banach Named to All-ECAC Softball Team
CAPE COD, Mass.--Buffalo State junior softball player Jolene Banach (Cheektowaga/ Maryvale) was named First Team All-ECAC Upstate after leading the Bengals to a 28-15 record including an appearance in the SUNYAC Championship game.
Banach, a health and wellness major, played every game at third base this season and finished as the Bengals' leading hitter with a .364 batting average. She also led the team with 15 doubles, the second highest single-season total in school history. Banach added three homeruns and 31 RBIs.
Banach was also named All-SUNYAC and Second Team All-Northeast Region.
