Buffalo State's Becker Named SUNYAC Basketball Player of the Week
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Josh Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) its men's basketball Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks.
Becker averaged 20.0 points and 10.3 rebounds and shot 64 percent from the field as he helped the Bengals to three straight SUNYAC wins last week. The junior forward tallied 25 points in a 68-56 win at Cortland on Tuesday, and again in a 88-63 trouncing of Oswego on Saturday. Becker is currently second in the conference in scoring with 18.5 points-per-game, and is fifth in the SUNYAC in rebounding with 7.5 boards.
