Buffalo State's Beiter Named SUNYAC Pitcher of the Week
Buffalo State's Elizabeth Beiter (N. Tonawanda) was named the State University of New York (SUNYAC) Pitcher of the Week.
Beiter was 3-0 in three starts and did not allow a single run in 15 innings of work. She posted two complete game shutouts, hurling a two-hitter in a 7-0 win at Oneonta and allowed just one-hit in a five-inning 8-0 win over RIT. She also pitched three scoreless innings in a win over New Paltz.
Beiter is off to a 6-1 start this season for the Bengals.
