Buffalo State’s Cohen, Anesetti Earn ECAC West Women’s Hockey Honors
CAPE COD, Mass.—Buffalo State’s Mary Cohen (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) and Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) were both selected to the All-ECAC West Women’s Hockey Honorable Mention team today.
Cohen, a junior defenseman, captured the honor for the second-consecutive season. The hospitality administration major played in all 23 games for the Bengals and finished with four goals and seven points. After three seasons, she ranks seventh in school history with 35 points (13 goals and 22 assists).
Anesetti appeared in 11 games as a goalie and set a school record with a 2.49 goals-against-average and had a .924 save percentage. The junior earth sciences major has a 2.71 career goals-against-average.
Buffalo State was 7-15-1 over and went 5-9 in ECAC West play this season under first-year head coach Rob Burke.
