Buffalo State's Fisher Dubbed SUNYAC Pitcher of the Week
Buffalo State's Aimee Fisher (Hamburg/Frontier) was named the SUNYAC Pitcher of the Week after a 19-strikout performance against SUNYIT on Friday.
Fisher, a sophomore biology major, threw a complete game two-hitter in a 7-0 win over the visiting Wildcats. Of the 21 outs in the game, Fisher retired 19 by way of strikeout. She is currently 7-0 with a 0.87 ERA and has 65 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings.
Buffalo State will next host Brockport in another SUNYAC doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 3 p.m.
