Buffalo State's Haynes Earns ECAC Football Honors
CAPE COD, MA--Buffalo State senior defensive back Michael Haynes (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill) was named to the All-ECAC Northwest Football First Team today.
Haynes, a senior secondary English education major, finished the season with seven interceptions, one shy of matching the Buffalo State single-season record. A team captain, he also had 43 tackles, including 28 solo stops.
Buffalo State finished the season with a 3-6 record, including wins over Cortland, Apprentice and Plymouth State.
