Buffalo State's Meyer Named ACFC Rookie of the Week

Buffalo State freshman wide receiver Greg Meyer (Lancaster/Lancaster) was named the Atlantic Central Football Conference (ACFC) Rookie of the Week after his breakout performance at Salisbury this past Saturday.

Meyer, a business major, had career highs with seven catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns. His scores came on plays of 44 and 11 yards within 2:02 of each other early in the second quarter. He also had four kick returns for 67 yards with a long of 32.

Meyer is third on the Bengals with 20 catches for 313 yards and two touchdowns on the season. He leads the team with a 15.6 yards-per-catch average.

Buffalo State will host Newport News Apprentice School for "homecoming" this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Coyer Field.
