Buffalo State’s Parks Garners Women’s Basketball All-SUNYAC Honors
Buffalo State senior guard Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) was selected to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women’s basketball honorable mention all-star team.
The business major led the Bengals and was eighth in the SUNYAC averaging 13.0 points-per-game. Parks also grabbed 4.7 rebounds-per-outing and was second on the team in both assists (52) and steals (94). She became just the 11th player in school history to score 1,000 career points, finishing her career with 1,055 points.
Parks led the Bengals to a 10-16 overall record including trip to the SUNYAC Quarterfinals. The Bengals season ended at the hands of eventual conference-champion Brockport.
