Buffalo State junior Katie Rivers (Watertown, NY/Watertown) was named the SUNYAC Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week after backstopping the Bengals to their seventh-consecutive victory.

Rivers, an elementary education major, posted a spectacular .706 save percentage by making 12 saves as Buffalo State defeated Goucher by a score of 8-5. She improved her record to 3-0 on the season with a 9.99 goals-against-average and a .549 save percentage.

Buffalo State will return to action tomorrow against Fredonia at 4 p.m. at Coyer Field.
