Buffalo State's Tschari Named SUNYAC Softball Player of the Week

Buffalo State sophomore designated player Christina Tschari (Clarence/ Clarence) was named the SUNYAC Softball Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to an 4-2 week, including three league wins.

Tschari, an exceptional education major, was 9 for 20 for the week with a .450 batting average, including six extra base hits. She had four doubles, two homeruns and 11 RBIs. Her timely hitting helped lead the Bengals to a 4-2 week, including a 3-1 mark in SUNYAC games with a sweep at Brockport.

Tschari is currently third on the team with a .357 batting average and is tied for second with 14 RBIs.

Buffalo State will next host Fredonia for a SUNYAC doubleheader tomorrow at 3 p.m.
