Communication Design Student Wins Creative Achievement Award

Communication Design student Jordan Burby has received the "Outstanding First-Year Student Scholarly or Creative Achievement Award" bestowed by University College.

In the nomination application, Carol Townsend, Design Foundations coordinator stated, "In our beginning design courses, we introduce students to the 'design process'—a series of steps through which one arrives at a good solution, in other words, a creative problem-solving template. Like a professional designer, Jordan generates a series of workable concepts up front. His ability to think on his feet bodes extremely well for his future as a designer."
