Jenny Vacanti (Niagara Falls/Niagara Wheatfield) placed sixth out of 100 runners at the SUNYAC Championships at Brockport earlier today, naming her to the All–SUNYAC First Team. The men took a ninth place finish of 11 teams with 210 points, while the women recorded an incomplete finish.

Dan Hargrave (Dansville/Dansville) paced the men's team over the 8000 meter course, placing 33rd of 114 runners with a time of 27:45. Right behind Hargave was teammate Shane Reynolds (Richland/Pulaski). Reynolds posted a time of 27:55, giving him a 34th place finish in the race.

On the women's side, Vacanti ran an outstanding race, with a time of 23:42 over the 6000 meter route. Her conference honor is the first for Buffalo State since 1996 when Lynn Lambright was named to the All-SUNYAC team.

The team will compete at the State Championships at Geneseo on Nov. 6.
