Cross Country Runner Michael Herron
Cross country runner Michael Herron (West Seneca East) was named Buffalo State's Athlete of the Week.
The junior made his Buffalo State debut in the Daniel Walker Memorial Invitational at Beaver Island State Park with a 10th place showing of 133 runners in a time of 27:27. Herron became the first Buffalo State runner to earn a top-15 finish in the meet since 1994. The Walker Invitational is annually one of the strongest meets in the Northeast.
