Cross Country Runs at SUNYAC Championships
POTSDAM, NY—Buffalo State’s cross country teams competed at the SUNYAC Championships in Potsdam today, with the men placing eighth of 11 teams and the women finishing ninth of 10.
Bryan Buchanan (Cicero/CNS) led the men over the 8K course, placing 32nd of 118 runners in 27:35. Kyle Fenner (N. Syracuse/CNS) was the next Bengals’ finisher in 51st with a time of 28:21.
Margaret Hughes (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy) paced the women’s team, finishing 32nd of 105, navigating the 6K course in 25:09. Jen Bernard (Hyde Park/FD Roosevelt) added a 62nd place showing in 27:29.
Buffalo State will compete Saturday, Nov. 3 at the New York State Championships.
