GENESEO, NY— Buffalo State's cross country teams competed at the Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth State Park today, with the women finishing incomplete, scoring only four runners and the men running 10th of 15 teams.

On the women’s side, Margaret Hughes (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy) led Buffalo State, placing 24th of 162 runners, navigating the 6K course in 23.56. Jen Bernard (Hyde Park/FD Roosevelt) was the next best finisher in 81st with a time of 27:20.

Kyle Fenner (N. Syracuse/Cicero-N. Syracuse) paced the Bengals, finishing 54th of 217 runners and completing the 8K course in 27:42. Ben Adams (Syracuse/Paul V. Moore) was 58th in 27.54.

Buffalo State will travel to Florida next weekend to compete at the 12th annual Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic in Orlando.
