Cuomo Visits Buffalo State to Discuss START-UP NY

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo visited the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State, Monday, June 24, to discuss the START-UP NY bill.

In a visit introduced by Provost and Officer-in-Charge Dennis Ponton, Governor Cuomo provided highlights of the recently passed plan that allows SUNY, CUNY, and independent colleges and universities to develop tax-free communities.

The governor also provided an overview of additional state-sponsored programs designed to stimulate growth in the upstate economy.
