Davis Named SUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Buffalo State senior forward Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week today.
Davis averaged 18.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in three SUNYAC games, as the Bengals won twice and put themselves back into the thick of the conference playoff race. Davis scored 25 points in a victory over Oneonta, and tallied 15 points, eight boards and six assists in a win over SUNYIT. He also recorded a career-high six steals and three blocked shots in a loss to Brockport earlier in the week.
Davis and the Bengals will wrap up their home schedule tomorrow night against Geneseo at 8 p.m.
