Davis' Triple-Double Lead Men's Basketball Past New Paltz, 89-58

BUFFALO, NY—Perry Davis' (Buffalo/Seneca) first career triple-double helped Buffalo State (9-3/3-1) sprint past New Paltz (3-7/1-3), 89-58, in tonight's SUNYAC contest at the Sports Arena. Davis, a senior forward, scored 22 points and added 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Buffalo State led wire-to-wire, building on a 39-28 halftime advantage with a 50-point second half. The Bengals shot 51.9-percent from the field.

Joshua Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) supported Davis' performance with 19 points and eight rebounds of his own. Michael Miranto (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) added 10 points in the win.

Anseshem Foluke-Henderson (Jamaica/American Studies) led New Paltz with 18 points and seven rebounds. John Hauser (E. Williston/Chaminade) added nine points and sever boards.

Buffalo State will travel to Geneseo Tuesday night for an 8 p.m. tip-off. New Paltz will continue its road trip at Fredonia tomorrow afternoon.
