Edwards Leads Track & Field at ECAC Championships
SPRINGFIELD, MA—Latoya D. Edwards (Brooklyn/ Clara Barton) won a pair of ECAC Championships as a handful of Bengals were in action today at Springfield College.
Edwards won the 100-meter dash with an NCAA provisional time of 12.05 seconds, and ran a leg of the winning 4x100-meter relay, also with a provisional time of 47.89 seconds. Mario Hicks (Corning/ Corning West) added a fourth-place showing in the 110-meter hurdles with a provisional mark of 14.69 seconds.
The NCAA will announce the official field for next weekend’s championships at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Sunday.
