Faculty and Friends Concerts for September

The Music Department will host four concerts this month that showcase the talents of the college’s faculty as well as those of visiting musicians. The performances are among 23 "Faculty and Friends Concerts" that will take place during the 2013–2014 academic year.       

September Faculty and Friends Concerts:

Thursday, September 5
Holly Bewlay, soprano and assistant professor of music, and Emily Boyce, pianist and associate professor of music

Monday, September 9
The Cleveland Duo and James Umble (pictured)

Thursday, September 19
Juyeon Kang, a concert pianist and associate professor of music at Northwestern College

Tuesday, September 24
Yi-Chen Chen (clarinet) with Xiao Xue Sun (piano). Both musicians are faculty members at Capital Normal University in Beijing, China.

All concerts take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall. Tickets are $10 general; students are admitted for free.  For tickets, call (716) 878-3005 or visit music.buffalo.edu.
