Buffalo State College Foundation's Fifth Annual Golf and Tennis Scholarship Classic will be held on Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at Brookfield Country Club in Clarence.



Sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western New York, the event will benefit the Buffalo State College Scholarship Fund and the college's All College Honors Program.



Adam Benigni, WGRZ-TV2 weekend sports anchor and host of "Channel Two Sports Extra," will serve as master of ceremonies for an auction and dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.



Todd Brason, a 1985 alumnus of Buffalo State College and chief executive officer of WILLCARE, and Benjamin Zuffranieri, a 1980 graduate and partner in Hodgson Russ, served as tournament chairs.



The price of golf is $250 per player ($1,000 for a foursome), and includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch buffet, cocktails, awards dinner, auction and prizes. The price of tennis is $150 per player ($300 for mixed doubles), and includes tennis balls, lunch buffet, cocktails, awards dinner, auction and prizes. The cost for additional non-player dinner guests is $60 per person.



Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the country club at 5120 Shimerville Road.
