Football player Marc Hoppy (Depew/Depew) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior wide receiver set a Buffalo State record for catches in a game with 12 for 100 yards in the Bengals 10-7 upset victory at Washington & Jefferson, the No. 17 ranked team in the nation. He also set a new school record for catches in a season with 62, surpassing the previous mark of 51.
