Football quarterback Mike Mikolaichik (Hilton/Hilton) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

The senior elementary education major led Buffalo State to its second-consecutive victory, a 34-22 win over visiting Plymouth State on Saturday. Mikolaichik played a role in all five Buffalo State touchdowns, throwing for three and rushing for two more. He was 15 of 22 for 187 yards on the day.

Mikolaichik and the Bengals will travel to No. 16 Thiel this Saturday.
