Football wide receiver Jeff Shostak (E. Smethport, PA/Smethport) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior biology major made nine catches for 118 yards in Saturday's heartbreaking 27-26 loss at Frostburg State. Shostak scored his second touchdown of the season with a 35-yard reception in the second quarter.
Shostak is second on the team with 23 catches for 294 yards through four games this season.
