Don Hansen's Football Gazette released it Preseason Top-40 Poll today, and four of Buffalo State's eight Division III opponents are ranked among the nations best teams.

Rowan (October 11) led the group at number-five while Brockport (October 4) joined the Profs in the Top-10, ranking eighth. Washington & Jefferson (Novermber 15) was picked 16th, and Cortland (September 27) was ranked 36th.

The Bengals open the season on September 6 against Division IAA Robert Morris, before travelling to Division II Mansfield the following week.
