Gannon Swims Past Buffalo State in Final Home Meet

Buffalo State closed out its home schedule this afternoon with a dual meet against Division II Gannon, falling 130-57 on the women's side and 135-79 for the men.

Prior to the meet, Buffalo State recognized the efforts of seniors Mark Manka (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West), Tommy Schilke (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) and Bret Stodolka (Darien/Alexander), and junior Marie Ryer (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) for competing in Kissinger Pool for the final time prior to the start of the meet.

Mindy Wood (Middlesex/Marcus Whitman) won the 1000 free with a time of 11:46.27 to highlight the women's docket. The Bengals lone victory on the men's side cam in the 50 free, when Derek Stoklosa (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West) touched first with a time of 23.69.

The Bengals next meet will be Monday at Cortland.
