Friends of the Asarese-Matters Community Center were very thankful for the wonderful warm clothing items and accessories donated by our generous Buffalo State College community at the Food, Fashion and Fun Sale, held at the Center on Saturday, December 15.



Many children and families were able to fill up large bags with these items, making the winter months ahead and the holiday season a little better for these individuals. In addition, more than 100 holiday bags (filled with toiletry items) are being distributed to the children at the Center this week. All proceeds benefit the Center's youth programs.



A special thanks goes out to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Buffalo State who donated clothing, accessories and/or toiletry items to this sale. We wer e overwhelmed with the outpouring of support received for this charitable effort!This initiative was sponsored by the Buffalo State College Alumni Association, College and Community Partnerships Office and the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center.
