Governor Cuomo on Campus Tuesday, February 7
Buffalo State faculty, staff, and students were invited to attend New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s Rally for Student Tuition Initiative, Tuesday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall.
In his 2017 State of the State address, Governor Cuomo unveiled an exciting proposal regarding tuition assistance for students in New York State. Called the “Excelsior Scholarship,” this initiative is a nation-leading proposal to make college tuition-free for New York’s middle-class families at all SUNY and CUNY two- and four-year colleges.
Governor Cuomo is traveling the state to talk more about this incredible initiative, and chose Buffalo State as the first location on his tour.
