Hathcock and Holbok Garner ECAC Football Weekly Honors
Buffalo State running back Curtis Hathcock (Buffalo/Bennett) was named the ECAC Northwest Offensive Player of the Week and Michael Holbok (Buffalo/St. Joe's) was named to the weekly honor roll for their efforts in a 34-26 loss at Montclair State this past Saturday.
Hathcock had 24 carries for 141 yards including a 65-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. For the season, he has 740 yards in seven games and is on pace to become Buffalo State’s first 1,000-yard back since Perez Dinkens rushed for a school record 1,201 yards in 1996.
Holbok recorded nine tackles, including five tackles for loss and three sacks. He currently leads the nation in tackles for loss with 21 and is third in the country with 11.0 sacks.
