Buffalo State junior defensive end Michael Holbok (Buffalo/St. Joe's) was named to the D3Football.com All-American Third Team after already receiving the same honors from College Sports Information Directors Division III All-America committee and from Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

Holbok led the nation with 28 tackles for losses and finished tied for ninth in the country in sacks-per-game, averaging 1.2. He finished the season with 58 tackles including 32 solo stops. He helped lead the Bengals to an upset victory over the No. 17 team in the nation Washington & Jefferson in the season finale and will lead a solid group of eight returnees on defense in 2004.

Holbok is the first Buffalo State player to reach All-America status since 2000.
