Buffalo State senior defensive lineman Michael Holbok (Buffalo/St. Joe's) was named First Team Preseason All-American by D3football.com, Lindy's Football Magazine, Street & Smith 2004 National College Football Magazine, and Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

Holbok was the only player in the Atlantic Central Football Conference to be recognized on the First Team by all four bodies. A consensus Third Team All-American last season, Holbok led the nation with 28 tackles for losses and was 10th in the nation with 12.0 sacks.

Holbok and the rest of the 2004 Buffalo State football team will report to camp under first-year head coach Paul Shaffner on Friday, August 13.
