Buffalo State seniors Michael Holbok (Williamsville/St. Joe's) and Perry Taglienti (Depew/Lancaster) have been selected to play in the Fourth Annual East Coast Bowl this Saturday in Petersburg, Va.

Holbok, a defensive end, anchored a dominant pass rush as the defensive end finished second in the ACFC with nine sacks and finished the season with 41 tackles, four forced fumbles and three blocked kicks.

Taglienti, a linebacker, was second in the ACFC with 109 tackles, becoming the first Bengals to surpass the 100-tackle plateau since 2000. He was also second on the team with 13 tackles for loss.

The East Coast Bowl is an all-star football game that showcases the talent of small college seniors who have had standout collegiate careers. The game is co-sponsored by the City of Petersburg and the Commonwealth Chapter of the National Football Foundation. In its first three years, more than 20 alumni have gone on to play some form of professional football.
