Indoor Track and Field Opens Season at RIT Tiger Invitational
ROCHESTER, NY--Buffalo State's indoor track and field teams opened their 2006 seasons today at the RIT Tiger Invitational. The meet was non-scored.
Justin Muise (Kenmore/Kenmore West) highlighted the docket, winning the 200-meter dash in 23.46. He also teamed with Eric Bream (Lockport/Lockport), James Howze (Amherst/Sweet Home) and John Tammaro (Cheektowaga/St. Mary's) to place second in the 4x400-meter relay (3:35.26). Bream added a strong showing in the 500-meter dash, placing second in 1:08.55. Paul Mesi (Clarence/Clarence) finished third in the 800-meter run, clocking 2:00.67.
Buffalo State will compete at Case Western Reserve next Saturday.
