BUFFALO, NY—Sue Kelly (Delmar/Bethlehem) scored 14 points to lead visiting Ithaca (4-9) past Buffalo State (5-8), 68-46, today in a non-conference game at the Sports Arena.

In the opening half, Ithaca forced 17 Buffalo State turnovers and held the Bengals to 29-percent shooting en route to a 32-16 advantage at the intermission. Buffalo State was unable to mount a sustained rally in the second half to get back in the game, as the Bengals failed to cut the deficit to less than 10. Ithaca outscored Buffalo State 30-18 in the paint and forced 26 Bengal turnovers in the game.

Molly Brennan (Green Island/Heatly) scored 12 points off the bench for the Bombers, and Jill Post (Oxford/Oxford) and Megan Micho (Syracuse/Westhill) added nine and eight points respectively.

Junior Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) led Buffalo State with a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds. Freshman Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) had eight points and 10 boards, and Gina Apa (Buffalo/McKinley) added nine points.

Buffalo State will host SUNYAC-rival Oswego on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
