The Career Development Center will hold its annual Job and Internship Fair on Thursday, March 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Campbell Student Union's Social Hall. Accelerate Marketing, Arbor Financial, Ingram Micro, Northtown Automotive, People Inc., and Tracks Marketing and Management are gold sponsors for the event. More than 50 organizations have signed up to recruit Buffalo State students and alumni.

“We have opportunities for students from every major on campus,” said Stephanie Zuckerman-Aviles, director of the Career Development Center. “And those opportunities include both permanent positions and paid internships.”

Employers are recruiting for positions such as financial representative, mental health counselor, business analyst, multimedia journalist, IT support technician, business analyst, and speech-language pathologist. Industries represented include banks, power and energy companies, marketing firms, human services organizations, and national retail companies.

“We understand our students are seeking satisfying careers,” said Zuckerman-Aviles. “At this event, students can meet employers to discuss career positions and internships. Internships are often key to obtaining a permanent position. Many businesses, such as Target, offer paid internships. Through this event and the many other resources we offer, we build the bridge between our students’ academic work and the needs of local and national employers.” For more information, please contact Zuckerman-Aviles at (716) 878-5811.
