Larsen Earns ECAC West Women's Hockey Weekly Accolade
Buffalo State women's hockey player Meredith Larsen (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) was named the ECAC West Women's Hockey Goalie of the Week today.
Larsen, a sophomore criminal justice major, was spectacular in the Bengals' 1-1 tie on Saturday against Bethel, making 44 saves. Buffalo State was outshot 45-8 for the game, but scored the game-tying goal on a deflection with just two seconds remaining in regulation. Larsen has a 2.89 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.
Buffalo State will travel to Utica for a two-game set this Saturday and Sunday.
