Local Foundation Supports Art Conservation at Buffalo State College
In a visible demonstration of support for art conservation, the John R. Oishei Foundation has contributed $295,000 to Buffalo State College's renowned Art Conservation Department.
The grant of $295,000 from the Oishei Foundation for scientific equipment and research will be instrumental in helping the Buffalo State College Art Conservation Department achieve its goals of adequate and necessary funding for conservation science.
"We are immensely thankful for this generous contribution and this expansive local support of our program," said Elizabeth S. Peña, director of the Buffalo State College Art Conservation Department. "This funding is essential to our maintaining a premier program grounded in scientific expertise and technology."
