Weigel Health Promotions will host a therapy dog workshop through Horizon Health Services Therapy dogs are a great way to relieve stress. A therapy dog will be present to pet throughout the program.

The Buffalo State Philharmonia Orchestra will perform a free classical music concert. The performance features winners in the Young Artist Competition in which professional musicians evaluate Buffalo State students on musical proficiency and aptitude. Meet the Author: Engelic Everett

The Council for Exceptional Children presents an evening with Engelic Everett. Everett, an author of children's books who attended Buffalo State, will speak to about her journey through Buffalo Public Schools and her continuation to Buffalo State. Everett will touch on the hurdles she has had to overcome and the ways in which it made her a better person. She will also discuss some of the children's books she has written. Dinner will be provided.

This conference will give participants the awareness, skills, and tools needed to support diverse learners of all abilities. Creating accessible digital content minimizes barriers to learning, while supporting academic excellence. Universal Design for Learning principles focus on creating flexible learning environments that can accommodate individual learning differences.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Jazz and swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform. The band’s music has appeared in countless films and television shows, including The Wild, Despicable Me, Phineas & Ferb, Friends, Third Rock From The Sun, Ally McBeal, and So You Think You Can Dance. The concert is part of Buffalo State’s Great Performers Series, sponsored by M&T Bank. Tickets range from $32 to $40.
