Men's Basketball Falls to Brockport, 78-68
BUFFALO, NYRandy Bills (Fairport/Fairport) tallied 21 points and nine rebounds to pace Brockport (15-6/11-1) past host Buffalo State (10-9/4-7) tonight in a SUNYAC game at the Sports Arena.
The two teams combined for 22 turnovers in the opening half as Brockport fought its way to a 33-30 halftime advantage. The Bengals took the lead by one early in the second half, but Brockport regained the advantage with 16:42 to play, and never trailed again.
Brandon Mills (Rochester/Spencerport) joined Bills in double-figures with 18 points, and Charlie Croff (Lockport/Lockport) and David Andrews (Huntington Station/Whitman) each scored nine points.
Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) led the Bengals with 14 points and seven boards. Aaron Carter (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) added a career-high 12 points, and Joshua Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) chipped in 11.
