Men's Basketball Opens Season With Win Over Fisher, 69-61
Buffalo State opened its 2003-04 men's basketball season tonight at the Montclair State Tip-Off Tournament with a 69-61 victory over Fisher (MA) College.
The Bengals never trailed as they led by as many as 24 points in the second half before coasting to the eight-point victory. Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) led the Bengals offense with a career-high 29 points and added 10 rebounds. Joshua Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) added 21 points, eight rebounds and six steals in the win.
The win advances to Bengals to tomorrow's championship game against No. 7 ranked Montclair State. The game will tip-off at 3:00 p.m.
