Men's Basketball Player Aaron Carter
Men's basketball player Aaron Carter (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore forward led the Bengals to a pair of victories to open the SUNYAC schedule this past weekend. Carter tallied 12 points and eight rebounds as Buffalo State edged Oneonta, 65-62, on Friday. He followed that performance with a career-high 16 points, five boards and three assists in an 80-65 triumph over New Paltz on Saturday.
Carter and the Bengals will host the Holiday Inn Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The tourney will tip-off at 6 p.m. on Friday with Hilbert against Medaille, followed by Buffalo State and D'Youville at 8 p.m.
