Men's basketball player Dion Mozelle (Rego Park/ Xaverian) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week for the second-consecutive week. The senior forward became just 18th player in the 82-year history of Buffalo State's men's basketball program to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. Mozelle averaged 18.5 points and 14.0 rebounds in a loss to Oswego and a win at Morrisville over the weekend, bringing his career scoring total to 1,010 points. The individualized studies major is in the SUNYAC's top-10 in scoring, averaging 16.1 points, and is third in the league with 9.5 rebounds-per-contest.
