Men's Basketball Player Jobany Tirado
Men's basketball player Jobany Tirado (Syracuse/Corcoran) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior social work major helped the Bengals to a 2-2 week at the Johns Hopkins and Albright Tournaments. Tirado averaged 14.8 points-per-game, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists. He scored in double-figures in all four games, and posted his career-high twice, scoring 18 against St. Mary's, and bettered that mark with 20 against Albright. Tirado was named to the Albright All-Tournament Team.
Tirado and the Bengals will return to SUNYAC play at home this Friday against New Paltz at 8 p.m.
